“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be a person of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.” 1 Cor 16:13-14
It's funny how the passage known about love is also directed to those in the the service. I like the connection because the men and women serving our country are doing this job because of their love of their country, the love of their homes, and the love of their families. Serving in the military seems to be amongst the few jobs where people chose a path of little recognition and little appreciation for the love of other people. They do it to protect and inspire and this is truly a Godly act.
You are truly a gift to our country. And I am so proud you are mine. <3
